World Without Stereos
Gone are the days when
friends, aunts, uncles, cousins
came out of the woodwork
wielding musical instruments:
banjos, bongos, guitars, fiddles,
flutes, maracas, mandolins
and with old and original songs
would sing and dance away
the night. Now we have
a stately silver box atop
the entertainment center
doling out canned music.
