Creative Bloomings eulogy, Poetic Asides disappointment and madrigal

What Could Have Been

We dreamed of traveling around the world
For all the years of labor we put in
A few more months and then we would begin

We raised our kids, with love, as life unfurled
We, hand in hand, survived through thick and thin
We dreamed of traveling around the world
For all the years of labor we put in

But with your sudden death our dreams were hurled
I’m feeling like a stranger in my skin
And now I think about what could have been
We dreamed of traveling around the world
For all the years of labor we put in
A few more months and then we would begin
