Self-Publishing
With over thirty years of writing,
I haven’t gotten as much out of it
financially as I put into it.
So I’ve changed my mind
about self-publishing.
It’s a different animal anyway,
no longer looked at as vanity.
I’ll give myself another thirty years.
If I’m not breaking even by
the time I’m eighty-six,
I’ll retire and take up painting.
