Shoe Shopping
Twinkle Fairy went to buy shoes.
So many pairs from which to choose.
Hiking boots, sneakers, flying shoes, flip-flops,
shiny shoes, saddle-shoes, rainboots, high tops,
high heels, penny loafers in pinks and blues,
tap shoes, tennis shoes, ballet shoes,
with emeralds, rubies, diamonds, bows,
slippers and ballet shoes with pointy toes,
leaf shoes, silky shoes, new and used.
Twinkle was beginning to feel confused.
She didn’t want to buy shoes anymore.
She turned around and flew out the door.
