Proud Papa
When my daughter
won an award for academic
and nursing skills,
walked across the stage
with the purple and
white cord around her neck,
and received her
diploma,
if I wasn’t so quiet and
compliant
I would have stood up
and shouted,
“That’s my girl!”
In Bible times, a voice boomed from Heaven,
“This is my Son, whom I
love;
with Him I am well
pleased. Listen to Him!”
Uhhh…maybe we should
listen to Him!
Love God. Love others. Pray.
Serve, Give.
Be thankful. Be kind. Be
faithful.
Practice what you
preach.
The world would be a
better place.
