Poetic Asides Watching the World Go By

Stories

I watched the world go by.
Foggy mountain passes
Dull yellow leaves waiting
for the sun to turn them into gold
Red cliffs
Broad meadows
Busy city streets
Flat prairies
Corn fields and more corn fields
Quaint towns
Cities stacked up on themselves
Lake of tossing waves
And in each car people with their own stories,
all-important to themselves.
