Morning Prayer

Good Morning

Good morning, Lord,

draw near today.

I love You,

come what may.

Thank You, God,

for being near.

With You around

I will not fear.

Or, at least, I’ll try

to be brave like You,

and do the things

You want me to.

Forgive me Lord

when I stray 

and may I love

like You, I pray.
