Time
Out
I
remember
when
my kids were small
and,
at times, naughty.
I’d
point to the corner
and
I’d say,
“Do
you want a time out?”
And
inwardly I’d be saying,
“Yes!
Yes!
I
desperately need a time out!”
My
kids are grown
and
out of the house,
but
still, at times,
I
wish someone would stick
me
in the corner
with
nothing to do,
except
look at walls.
