Fame
and Fortune
Once
I had to work at McDonald’s.
I
cashiered, swept the dining room,
Washed
pots, poured pop, made french-fries.
I
still know two ounces.
When
fries hit the grease
Sounds
like applause.
On-stage
dreams.
Yay
me!
Star.
