3:16 Means Love
For God—creator of the universe
so loved—did His best for
the worst
the world—all the people in it
that he gave—sins He will freely remit
his one and only Son—conceived by His Spirit
that whoever—anyone who receives it
believes in him—
obeys His son
shall not perish—the soul lives on
but have eternal life—live forever and ever.
