Gambling Eternity
If
you persist in unbelief be sure
that
you’re okay with creation in all
its complexities
from neutrinos
to
galaxies just happened. You need to be
confident
that the three hundred prophecies
Jesus
fulfilled were mere coincidence,
that
His predictions of the future being
fulfilled in the morning news is just a fluke.
Be
certain that Jesus was just kidding when
He said,
“I am the way and the truth
and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through me” (John 14:6 NIV)
and that “For God so loved the world
that he gave
his one and only Son, that whoever
believes
in him shall not perish but have eternal life
(John 3:16 NIV) is pie in the sky. Because
you’re
betting your eternity on it.
